Hi, I'm Nadia
I'm from Cape Town, South Africa and I moved to the UK in February 2020.
I bring 12 years of industry experience, seven of those specific to user experience across a range of platforms within the sports, health technology and travel industries. Equipped with an arsenal of finely honed design skills and an in-depth knowledge of properly conducted user testing, I’m truly passionate about collaborative, user-centric design and making online experiences delightful. I love making people's lives a little easier by discovering what their needs are and removing friction. I create highly engaging, user-centred experiences across Android, iOS and Web
platforms in Agile and Scrum environments.
I'm fascinated by human psychology, how people think, feel, react and how this translates in their behaviour. I'm constantly amazed by what I
learn listening to podcasts and reading books.
A few fun facts about me
I’m a trained barista and a stickler for a perfectly crafted cup of
coffee.
My favourite type of trip is exploring big, rugged nature in a
campervan.
Our beagle and three cats emigrated with us from South Africa. They’re family.
As a kid I competed in gymnastics and these days I stay fit by doing
CrossFit.
I love lego and still have my childhood collection (that came with me too).
I love flexing my creative brain through different mediums. I’m an
artist, aspiring photographer and video editor in my spare time.
